Corporate Art was given one word when we were asked to tender for Palazzo Versace; "neoclassical!". With help from Patricia Cuzco, who was Gianni Versace’s interiors design manager that we worked with, we were able to work towards creating a design brief that would suit the hotels era, mood and atmosphere. We received room layouts and elevations that were then completed with neoclassical artworks to incorporate into the scheme. Our proposal was documented offering images and sizes that worked for every room type and the hotels corridors. Versace Fashion photographs on photographic paper were used for the corridors and for the end of corridors we enlarged from 5x4 transperancies of Gowns that were used for the Opera. Original neoclassical images that were 200 years old were framed for the condominiums.
